One of the landmarks of the town is the ruin of a castle with a tower known as Štramberská Trúba. It is, apart from castle’s walls, the only reminder of once a strong medieval castle. The tower has been reconstructed and nowadays is used as a lookout tower. From a wooden gallery visitors can see the town of Štramberk, as well as the Beskydy Mountains and Starojický hill.
